The choice was due to comprehensive research on their qualifications and track record.  Having a Masters degree myself assured me that someone with a post-graduate degree had obviously worked harder, a single degree is not enough given the problems we are now facing and of course experience. However, my final choice was questioned by my more passionate peers who kept on telling me Villar was an evil man and was telling me that I am just voting for him because I was in his payroll.  Now, I am also evil just like the other voters who also made the same rational choice.
